Point Cedar Point is the number-one rated amusement park

Marblehead Lighthouse Marblehead
Lighthouse, one of Lake Erie's best known and most-photographed
landmarks, is one of Ohio's newest state parks. The grounds around
the lighthouse offer excellent picnicking and views of Lake Erie,
Sandusky Bay, Kelleys Island and South Bass Island.
St. Mary Parish St. Mary Parish was founded
in 1897.
East Harbor State Park Located on the
shores of Lake Erie, East Harbor State Park has unlimited
opportunities for outdoor recreation. Boating, fishing, swimming,
picnicking and camping are popular while nature enthusiasts will
enjoy the abundance of waterfowl, shorebirds and other species of
wildlife found in the park's scenic wetlands.
Put-In-Bay There is no doubt that
Put-in-Bay is one of the most unique places you will ever visit. The
tiny two by four mile island is dotted with historic homes, the
nation's third tallest monument, quaint restaurants and local pubs.
Beautiful water surrounds Put in Bay where you will find the best
walleye and perch fishing in the United States.
Kelleys
Island Kelleys Island is located in the western basin of
Lake Erie about four miles north of Marblehead and twelve miles from
Sandusky on the Ohio mainland. The entire island measures more than
four square miles and is the largest fresh water American island in
Lake Erie.
Miller's
Boat Line Miller Boat Line runs scheduled trips every
half hour between Catawba Point and Put-in-Bay. An 18-minute ride,
the ferry service carries both passengers and vehicles.
Jet Express
In just 22 minutes, you'll pass seven Lake Erie islands,
catch up on the lake and island histories with a narrated tour, and
travel shore-to-shore from downtown Port Clinton to downtown
Put-in-Bay. The Jet Express is a safe, ocean-approved catamaran
offering passengers a choice of all-weather, protected indoor
seating or a refreshing open air ride.
African Safari Wildlife Park African
Safari Wildlife Park is among the leaders in the United States
conservation efforts. Tour the one-hundred plus acre preserve and
visit hundreds of rare, exotic and some endangered animals from
around the world. More than fifty different animal species from
giraffe and zebras to alpacas and camels.
Monsoon Lagoon Monsoon Lagoon Water
Park has over three-hundred thousand square feet of pure, wet
excitement. Take a ride on the six great waterslides, including the
three stories tall Typhoon Rush Slide Tower or splash around on the
Adventure Island Tree House with one-hundred and five water play
stations on seventeen different levels.
Johnson's Island Confederate Officers Prison
Johnson's Island is located near Lake Erie at the Bay of
Sandusky. During 1861-1865, the island was a Northern prison camp
for Southern Officers and Enlisted Soldiers of the South.
Dempsey's Access Launch your boat right into the
Sandusky Bay and you can see Cedar Point Amusement Park and the City
of Sandusky. You can also enjoy hiking and fishing at this public
park.
Mazurik Access This access lies on the north side of
Marblehead Peninsula adjacent to Lakeside. This area provides
excellent direct access to walleye, white bass, smallmouth bass and
yellow perch fishing in Lake Erie. |
